ANTELOPE CANYON

After yesterday's fiasco of having to hoof-it through the desert, today I decided to ride through the desert. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon located on the Navajo Indian Reservation and the only way you can go there is with a Navajo guide.
I hopped in the back of this truck with my Navajo guide for a
15-minute bumpy ride through the desert (beats walking!)

The best way to describe Antelope Canyon is,
it's like a cave, with small amounts of light coming
through in spots. (These photos
are without the benefit of a flash or tripod.)
This is the entrance (there is only 1 way in)

Once you are inside the canyon, it is breathtaking.

This is an exceptional photo (if I do say so myself!). It is only during certain times of the day that you see this light beam coming through Can you see the elephant? The pathway is very narrow.
Can you see the heart?
This is the exit at the other end; you have to go back through it to leave After Antelope Canyon, I had a picnic along the beautiful Colorado River
This was a little house made of rocks near the Vermillion Cliffs
VERMILLION CLIFFS

OH, YUM!!!!
And a beautiful sunset over Page, Arizona
